Here's a few shots of our preparation for Halloween from tonight. Andrew was our jack-o-lantern carver for the night, while McKayleigh and I pretended to be witches- separating the "teeth" from the "brains" of our beheaded person.
A few witch cackles later and Ayden assisted for a few scoops- but he was more interested in carving with Andrew. The kids had a blast and we still managed to get to bed on time! Woo-hoo for us! It is yet again another cold night here and we have the windows open and the kids in their warm pre-Christmas jammies. Wow... only about two months left until Christmas. That means a 5 year old and a new year. My, how time flies.
