McKayleigh's Gift

 

 

Pampaw brought back a harem girl costume for his granddaughter and she LOVES it! It went straight on, and continues to be her attire right when she gets home from school up until it is shower time! The black and white shot is one to show her missing teeth... another one is on the way, too! My little baby is growing up way too fast!

McKayleigh at the dirt track race yesterday in South Carolina. All she wanted to do was watch the race and cheer on the team! We all can't wait to go again! Our friends own a car and are trying to get Andrew to drive it for them- so we'll see how it all goes down. All we know, is that it is crazy fun, crazy dirty, and VERY southern!

We went to our first dirt race yesterday and had a blast! We were covered in dust, freezing at the end, made a lot of friends, made some good connections, and had a great time! McKayleigh never wanted to leave the stands- she was really into it!

Godparents

 

 

 

We became godparents, this Sunday, to a total of three boys! It was a beautiful ceremony and a very special day for us all! The first picture is from Grace Episcopal in Morganton when we went to visit. It is still hard to beat the stained glass at St. Francis!

We spent Saturday in Morganton- a city we hadn't ventured off into, yet. It had cozy little coffee shops, pizza parlors, organic bakeries, and such. Beautiful weather and a fun day out and about.

We had a fabulous Halloween at our beautiful home this year! The kids were Captain America and Hannah Montana (thanks Mom!) and they loved to dress up all day! We had over 100 kids come by, a beautiful night, fun music playing, and guests came over for a late night hang out!
