Ayden's First Day!

I dropped Ayden off for his first day of school this morning! We walked into the gate before his class and he stopped, turned around, put his hand up in a "stop" and said I could stay there and he was fine. :( Such a big boy! I quickly let him know that I wanted to walk him in and smooch him on his first day. He said that was fine and we proceeded inside. He was so excited as he jumped out of bed this morning and the first thing he said was that we had to call Daddy to remind him that he was starting school today! Such a sweet boy! I know he'll have a great day and I can't wait to pick up both of my babies this afternoon!

Paisley Scott growing quickly and not so quietly everyday. We're 28 weeks here- her arrival is getting closer by the day!

Chim Chim Chiree...

Our chimney-less house. No need to call Mary Poppins!

Our Saturday...

So... I get a call at 5:00 in the morning from Andrew telling me his engine just blew up. Luckily, he had just pulled into work. At 5:30, we were all on our way to the rescue. Back home at 7:30 to find the roofers here taking down our two chimneys. Both were useless- one actually no longer had a fireplace connected and ended mysteriously in a wall behind McKayleigh's headboard! We had discovered a few leaks during a recent monsoon here, and the roofer told us the chimneys had to go. What you can actually see is the sawdust from replacing a few boards and re-roofing the spots. We are very pleased and both looking forward to a dry autumn. We then to look for a new vehicle for Andrew. We found this 1996 Ford F150 for a song and it is now in our driveway. God is good... but He likes to watch us for entertainment sometimes! ;)

Ayden's Meet the Teacher

Ayden's visit yesterday to meet his teacher and see his new classroom! We are so proud and he can't wait to start Wednesday!

McKayleigh's First Day!

McKayleigh was up and at 'em this morning- very excited to start a new school year! She couldn't wait to see all of her friends, make new ones, and make new memories! ...a few tears were shed as I pulled away, but I know she'll have a great time! Baby number two starts on Tuesday!!!
