Ayden's Rash

Ayden's mysterious rash that appeared Sunday. It started on his neck and chest, spread to his trunk and shoulders, then to his arms and legs, now his face, hairline, hands, feet, and bootie. We went to the doctor on Tuesday and they tested him for scarlet fever which came back negative. They also talked about 5th disease, but he should have had red cheeks and spread to his hands and feet. Well, two days later it has spread to there, so I am going for the 5th disease. Basically, it is Hoof and Mouth for people. Very contagious and spreading to all schools here- nothing you can do for it, but wait it out. He is happy, healthy, and just looks awful!

We went to Denny's today for our FREE Grand Slam meal! It was advertised during the Super Bowl that every American gets a free Grand Slam today! We both had eggs, bacon, sausage, and pancakes. Well, I had half of my pancakes- Ayden decided he was still hungry!

Family Super Bowl Sunday!

Andrew finally had a day off today!!! We spent it in bed until 9:30, then made omelets, showered, and went to the playground with the kids on this gorgeous Sunday afternoon. We took some pics, then headed off to the store to get some much needed Super Bowl supplies- cheese, summer sausage, mini corn dogs, and chicken wings. It has been a great day off so far and the game is about to start!
