My Kids are Driving!
They have already begun driving at the ages of 3 and 6! They took the boat around the lake last weekend and didn't want to leave!
A Day at the Lake
We took the kids along on a Youth trip with our church to our Priest's lake house on Lake Tahoma. They loved it and can't wait to go back! Here's some shots of Ayden driving a boat (he kept saying he was the Captain!), McKayleigh swimming in the lake, and Ayden spending time in the only water he could with his cast! (We just had a waterproof one put on this week!)
VBS 2008
Two shots of the kids at Vacation Bible School this year- Ayden with a cape on and McKayleigh doing yoga with her class. It was a great week and I am so happy to have been able to have participated in it for the second year! (I took on the Preschoolers again this year- and we all had a blast!)
More Lazy Days
Some more pictures of the kids on their pirate pool. These are older shots, where Ayden still has his old cast on. He now has a good light blue Gortex waterproof cast- and he LOVES it! (I think we love it more than he does, due to the ease of both cleaning and knowing he can't injure it again!) More to come, as usual!

S.S. Kirton
The kids playing in their new pirate ship. It started to get shady, and they got chilly. Tomorrow's another day!
Arrrrr!
Ahoy there! Ayden showing off his cool cast cover- go me! He's in the tub right now, so I'll see how well it held up. I might be plopped in front of the hair dryer for a bit with him!

My Poor Baby!
Wednesday, Ayden tumbled off of the front porch and into the rose bushes. He ate with his left hand that night, and I'm sure it didn't feel well. Thursday, he tumbled onto his right arm again while playing outside. Again, it was a little tender, but didn't seem to bother him much more. Today, he was in socks on the hardwood floors and plopped on it again- this time, I decided to go to the doctor. After the x-rays at the hospital, then back to the doctor's office- he was put in a splint for three weeks. He has a small fracture around his wrist and this was to prevent any further injury. After we got home, I let him ride his bike. Guess what?!?! He tumbled right onto his right arm again!!! I put the bikes up for the month and he came in and watched Spongebob. He thinks it's pretty cool- says he is a superhero now. Hahaha! Poor Mommy and break numero uno- not too bad for being a parent for almost 7 years!

Older pictures
Some older shots I haven't put up yet- the house, McKayleigh at the first Forest City Owls baseball game, and her last day of Kindergarten.
