Andrew and I spent the night finishing up season three of LOST. It definitely topped our New Year's Eves from the past! At midnight, the sirens started blaring to wake up our quaint little town and ring in the new year! It was very exciting and such a charming reminder of why we moved here. We were both expecting the kids to wake up, but they slumbered into 2009. 2008 was a very eventful year for our family- we were trying to sell a house, under 4 different contracts, almost gave up, personally sold it to a couple that just happened to stop by, planned a wedding, moved into my grandma's house for a month while awaiting our close, battled court fees and lawyers, had a beautiful wedding filled with family and friends, bought a gorgeous perfect home, bought and traded cars, made new friends, kept the old, officially unpacked and are moved in, began painting and renovating to make it our own, and are able to rest and take a breath of fresh air for the first time in both of our lives. Phew! We are actively working on baby number three and hopefully this will be the year that dream comes true.
I hope everyone had a wonderful 2008, made mistakes, learned from them, and are welcoming 2009 with open arms and an open heart.

It's amazing how much change that can come into your life, isn't it? It's one of my favorite movie lines "There's always a bend in the road." Congrats on TTC-ing number three! I hope it happens at the perfect time for your family :) Congrats to McK on Honor Roll again!!
