Soccer Practice!
Some photos of McKayleigh at her first practice. We were rained out Tuesday, so this became practice number one. In the U8 (under eight) division, they don't keep score or have a goalie. It is just a good way to get them to understand the basic rules of the game and to get out and have fun! She had a blast and Ayden got some good exercise keeping Daddy busy while I got to take some pictures!

Soccer Star!
Here are a few shots of McKayleigh as we headed out to practice yesterday! As you can see, we have been getting some of the rain from Fay... and we LOVE it! Practice ended up getting rained out, but we are looking forward to practice on Thursday!

We had McKayleigh's Thomas Jefferson School Picnic to meet her new teachers Saturday. She was reunited with LOTS of her friends and all of the kids were super excited to be back!

GOOOOAAALLLL!!!!!
The kids practicing at the park. We're going to start playing at the college so there aren't as many playground distractions for Ayden. :)
Our New Bed!
Our new Tempur-Pedic bed arrived just a few minutes ago! We are praying that this will be the much needed relief Andrew needs for his back, and from all we have read, researched, and talked to many sleep doctors and specialists- it should do the trick! The kids plopped right on it and said they were sinking! Hahaha! I am not allowed to give it a try until my hubby gets home, so I am looking even more forward to him getting home from work than usual! We'll give you the info on it's success at a later date! Zzzzzzzz...

Outside Play
Some outside shots of Daddy and Ayden tossing the ball, his bee sting (ouch!), and a pirate pool shot.
Butterfly Release
McKayleigh has been mothering her caterpillars for a few weeks now- watching them turn from caterpillars, to chrysalids, and now to butterflies. Tonight after dinner, we decided to release her Painted Lady Butterflies on a beautiful North Carolina evening.
