Hooray for Santa!

 

 

 

 

The kids were overwhelmed with wonderful presents from both the North Pole and family! Ayden "smooching" his skateboard, opening more gifts, Daddy sleepily watching the kids, and the tater tots singing on their new karaoke machine from Grandma and Grandpa Richardson and Uncle Max! Definitely a popular gift for the two of them! Thanks to all that made this a very special day for the whole family!

Some pictures from Christmas Eve where the kids were mixing, cutting out, decorating, and eating cookies! They helped Daddy put together a gingerbread house that their godmother made for them to decorate, and decorated it Christmas Day while we waited for the turkey to finish cooking. The final shot is their goodies left from Santa- they did pretty well!

Some photos from McKayleigh's 6th Birthday Party at the Kid's Museum today. She informed us that it was the best day in her whole entire life. We were pretty happy about that! Enjoy!

Here's some shots of some school activities McKayleigh has been a part of. There's her birthday "whoopin's", the girls in her class playing a game of pass the present- they each brought in a dollar gift and then had to play Hot Potato to see who got what, McKayleigh and her best friend Kaylee (say that 3 times fast!), and the only shot I could get of her in the Christmas show- I was busy videotaping and attepting to do it all with Ayden in my lap! McKayleigh's first Christmas program is tonight at her school! She is going to be a shepherdess ("A GIRL shepherd, Mommy!") and has to sing The Little Drummer Boy with her class. They will also perform many other songs and Silent Night in sign language with the rest of the Kindergarteners. Andrew and I put together her costume this morning- pretty good for two first timers! Of course, we had to make one for Ayden, too! The look adorable together and I can't wait to see her up on stage! Now, I'll have to try my hand at videotaping and taking photos with him in my lap!!!

Tooth Fairy!

 

 

 

My little girl is getting so much bigger!!! She lost her first tooth today!!! She already had the big tooth growing in behind it, and it finally pushed the baby one out of the way! I had to assist in the tooth twisting and we got it yanked out after 3 days of wiggling! Congratulations my little baby girl! My, how the time is flying...

Our Biltmore Visit

 

 

 

The 'rents came to visit us for a pre-Christmas trip this weekend. We sure packed a lot into a small time frame! We went to lunches, dinners, tours about town, saw our house under contract, opened gifts, played A Christmas Story Monopoly, and visited the Biltmore Estates. Here are a few pictures from our trip there last night- it was so pretty and we can't wait to go again! ...possibly for a Honeymoon...?!
