Happy Birthday Daddy!
We had a pre-party for Andrew today. It was a surprise, so the kids were very excited to hide and jump out when he got home. Ayden helped me make the Butter Pecan cake today while McKayleigh was at school. (He was very proud and happy to let everyone know he has assisted!)
Aloha!
Here is Ayden's "Hawaii". It's his hula he does on occasion, but he always sings, "Hawaaa-iiii!"! HAHAHA! He is always trying to make us laugh! ...and it works!

Day Two of Building
It is really starting to come together! We kept Andrew busy on his Labor Day with plenty of labor! He worked all afternoon and into the evening on securing, reinforcing, and beginning to attach siding to the clubhouse. We are going to have to buy a few items down the road- plywood, floor materials, a paintbrush, and tar paper for under our free shingles. So far, this is the result with zero money out of pocket and some pretty days outside with the kids and the neighborhood keeping us on our toes! It's pretty nice to have an engineer that went to school for architecture as a husband!
The Kirton Clubhouse!
Daddy began building the kids a clubhouse in the back yard. He is attaching it to the barn/storage shed and we are going to have it match our house- same paint, siding, shingles, and lights. We are using recycled materials left here by the previous owners, so we are going to so the best we can with what we have! Wish us luck- better yet, wish the kids luck!

McKayleigh's 4th Tooth!
She finally lost one of her top teeth last night! Well, "lost" isn't a good word- we pulled, wiggled, tugged, cried, coaxed, laughed, and tied floss to it. Finally, it came out! The Tooth Fairy left her $2 and it was all covered with fairy dust! Pretty cool, she had never accidentally left any behind before! Now, she is a Snaggle-Tooth- one missing in the top and one on the bottom. Make her stop growing!
Soccer Practice!
Some photos of McKayleigh at her first practice. We were rained out Tuesday, so this became practice number one. In the U8 (under eight) division, they don't keep score or have a goalie. It is just a good way to get them to understand the basic rules of the game and to get out and have fun! She had a blast and Ayden got some good exercise keeping Daddy busy while I got to take some pictures!

Soccer Star!
Here are a few shots of McKayleigh as we headed out to practice yesterday! As you can see, we have been getting some of the rain from Fay... and we LOVE it! Practice ended up getting rained out, but we are looking forward to practice on Thursday!
