Andrew working hard on frosting his nose, our picture we were using, an eye, and it's partner! We used white chocolate chips that we melted and plopped into a 1/4 measuring cup and put in the freezer for a few minutes.

Some pictures of the kids playing together after school this week. Ayden misses his sister when she is gone, and races to her with a HUGE grin when she gets home everyday. Very cute to see- I wonder how long this adoration will last...

Just Another Day in Paradise...

We spent our first Saturday out of Kindergarten at Chimney Rock Park. It's a favorite of the kids', and a great way to get excercise! We took the long two mile hike up, up, UP to Hickory Nut Falls and soaked our feet in the crystal clear icy waters. A wonderful day spent in beautiful nature here in North Carolina.

Our Big Day!!!

Today was McKayleigh's first day of Kindergarten!!! Here she is getting ready in the morning, and posing in front of the school. She was very excited about started, and we have been counting down the days for MONTHS now! She had selected this outfit as her first of many uniforms- headband and all. She absolutely had a blast and can't wait to go back tomorrow. She already told me about some "bad kids" there, then told us about the class rules, and even told us about friends she had already made! My little social butterfly!!! :) A few more shots will be posted of the kids swimming the other day, but times have been busy and we haven't had much time to sit, let alone post a blog! Enjoy!

Pre-school...

Well, Kindergarten, but pre as in before... McKayleigh's High School Musical backpack with TROY BOLTON on it, shot with her Andrew, and some with her non-smiling brother. You can see her little cold-symptom eyes in a few of these... poor thing!

Andrew dodging the Ayden Bomb! A shot of McKayleigh in her recent oatmeal baths- her eczema has been kicking in. We went through our tube of steroid cream already, and now we discovered that the oatmeal works just as well, if not better, than the expensive cream! We're usually pretty natural and homeopathic with medications, but we gave up and went to the doctor. Low and behold- oatmeal has done the trick best!
